Direct Speech and Indirect speech
Here we make it easy to study about.
If we want to change direct speech into indirect speech, we should remember three changes. here as follow :
@ change of tenses : - present tense into past tense
- past tense into past perfect
@ change of pronoun:
- As subjects : I, He, She, You, They , We and names of person
- as object : me, him, her, you, them and us
@ change of time
today - that day
yesterday - the day before / the previous day
tomorrow - the following day
here - there
etc..
The kind of sentences
1. Affirmattive sentences
# Rois said," I went to school yesterday with my friend
Rois said ( that ) He had gone to school the day before with his friend
2. Yes / No Questions
# Mr. Zidan told Anjani," Is your friend present now ?".
Mr.Zidan told Anjani ( if/ whether ) Her friend was present then.
3. Wh - Questions
# Eka asked," Where are your friend from ?".
Eka asked where my friend was from.
4. Imperative
# Mrs. Iis said," Don't stop studying".
Mrs.Iis said not to stop studying.
# Mr. Sabari told me," Practice your skill anytime".
Mr. Sabari told me to practice my skill any time.
